Secure Our Future Grant Success: Ensuring Safe Transportation for Monroe County Families

We’re excited to share the positive outcomes of the “Secure Our Future” project, funded by the Monroe County Health Endowment Fund. This initiative was designed to ensure that every child in Monroe County has a safe car seat and is properly secured, helping keep children safe on the roads.

Thanks to the project’s support, local organizations have been able to provide car seats, education, and assistance to families in need.

Key Accomplishments:

• 66 families reached: Families have received car seat safety education and resources.
• 82 car seats distributed: 82 car seats have been provided to families who needed them.
• Comprehensive support: Additional assistance has been given to families facing challenges with car repairs, utility bills, and more.

The success of this project highlights the power of community partnerships. By working together, we have been able to make a significant difference in the lives of children and families in Monroe County.
