G.R.O.W. Monroe Opens 2025 Grant Cycle: Empowering Women and Children in Monroe County

We are excited to announce that G.R.O.W. (Giving Represents Our Women) Monroe, a philanthropic fund within the Community Foundation of Monroe County, is now accepting applications for its 2025 grant cycle! With up to $5,000 in funding available, we are committed to supporting local 501(c)(3) organizations that are making a real, lasting impact in the lives of women and children in Monroe County.

Investing in Meaningful Change

This year, we are focusing on funding programs and projects that create direct, measurable improvements for women and children in our community. These grants are intended to support specific initiatives, ensuring that every dollar goes toward making a tangible difference. Please note that funding is not available for general operating or administrative expenses.

“We are looking for bold, innovative projects that address the unique needs of women and children in Monroe County,” says Valerie Orr, Executive Director of the Community Foundation of Monroe County. “At G.R.O.W. Monroe, we believe in the power of women’s philanthropy to transform lives and build a stronger, more vibrant community.”

How to Apply

Nonprofit organizations that align with our mission are encouraged to submit their applications online at cfmonroe.org/nonprofits. The deadline to apply is April 4, 2025.
